SMS Templates (Delivyr)
A Delivyr SMS account sends only templates that Delivyr has approved, and only to US and Canada numbers. It cannot send free-text SMS. The SMS Templates page in Brand Studio (/brand/sms-templates) lists the templates your Delivyr account can send. It appears only in workspaces whose SMS number is linked to a Delivyr account. Viewing needs the templates:read permission, and creating, refreshing or deleting needs templates:write.
A workspace admin connects the Delivyr account from Integrations > Delivyr - see Delivyr SMS. Each workspace uses its own Delivyr account, because Delivyr keeps templates and the STOP list per account.
Where templates come from
- Made in the Delivyr portal. Templates you create at app.delivyr.net appear here after Refresh from Delivyr. Joryio also checks every 30 minutes.
- Made in Joryio. New template submits a template to Delivyr's review. It shows In review until Delivyr approves or rejects it.
- Delivyr system templates. Delivyr's own ready-made templates are listed as Delivyr system and can be sent without review.
Status

Approved text cannot be changed. To change the wording, create a new template.
Writing a template
Write the message with placeholders such as {{first_name}}. Each placeholder is filled for each contact when the message is sent. Use letters, digits, _, . or - in a placeholder name.
Put {{link}} where a link should go. Joryio fills it with its own tracked short link, so clicks are counted like any other SMS link. {{account_dba}} is filled by Delivyr with your business name.
Delivyr discourages templates with more than two variables. Include your brand name and opt-out wording (for example "Reply STOP to opt out"), as US carriers expect.
Deleting
Delete removes the template from Delivyr as well. Delivyr system templates cannot be deleted.
