Push Templates

Push Templates are reusable push notifications - the same title, text, image and buttons, saved once and used in any push campaign or journey step. They live in Brand Studio → Push Templates (/brand/push-templates). Viewing the library requires the templates:read permission; creating and editing require templates:write.

What a push template holds

Everything a push message has: title, text, the on-tap URL or app scheme, an image, up to two action buttons, the sound and badge for app pushes, a group key, and the web-only options (keep on screen, site name). The builder is the same form and the same iOS, Android and Web preview as the campaign push step, so what you save is exactly what a campaign sends.

Templates also carry a name, a description and tags from the shared workspace tag pool, so a large library stays searchable.

Using a template

  • Campaigns - on the push compose step a new message opens on two tiles: Write a push or Use a push template. Pick a template by name (most recently edited first) and its content is copied into the message.
  • Journeys - a push Message node has a Start from template search under its header. Picking one copies the template into the node.

In both cases the campaign or journey owns the copy. Edit it freely; the saved template does not change, and editing the template later never changes messages already built from it. Deleting a template is safe for the same reason.

Managing templates

The library lists each template with its notification, who created and last edited it, and when. Rows offer Edit, Duplicate (creates "Name (Copy)") and Delete; selecting rows opens a bulk delete. Search matches the name, description, title and text; the tag filter narrows by tag.
