Asset Library
The Asset Library is a centralized place to manage all images, files, and media used in your campaigns, email templates, in-app templates, and WhatsApp messages.
Overview
Instead of uploading images separately each time you create a template, you can upload them once to the Asset Library and reuse them across all your campaigns and templates.
Supported file types:
- Images: PNG, JPEG, GIF, WebP, SVG
- Documents: PDF
- Fonts: WOFF, WOFF2
Maximum file size: 10 MB per file
Uploading Assets
From the Asset Library Page
- Go to Asset Library in the sidebar (under Templates)
- Click Upload or drag and drop files onto the upload area
- You can upload multiple files at once
- Files are uploaded directly to cloud storage for fast delivery
From the Email Editor
- Open an email template in the editor
- Click on an image component or add a new image block
- When the asset manager opens, you'll see your Asset Library
- Select an existing image or upload a new one
- The image URL is automatically inserted into your template
From the In-App Editor
The same asset picker is available when editing in-app message templates. Click on any image component to open the Asset Library picker.
Managing Assets
Folders
Organize your assets into folders for easy navigation:
- Click folders in the left sidebar to filter assets
- Move assets between folders by editing the asset details
Search
Use the search bar at the top to find assets by name.
Tags
Add tags to assets for additional organization. The Tags field uses the shared tag picker - pick an existing tag or create a new one - so asset tags join the same workspace-wide pool as campaigns, templates, and content blocks, and are filterable together. Tags can be edited in the asset detail view.
Editing Asset Details
Click on any asset to open its detail view where you can:
- Rename the asset
- Edit tags
- Copy the URL for use in custom HTML or external tools
- View metadata: file type, size, dimensions (for images), upload date
- Delete the asset
Deleting Assets
- Click on an asset to open its details
- Click the Delete button
- Confirm the deletion
Note: Deleting an asset removes it from cloud storage permanently. If the asset is currently used in a template or campaign, the image will no longer display.
Using Assets in Templates
Email Templates
When editing an email template with the drag-and-drop editor:
- Add an Image block to your template
- Click on the image to open the asset picker
- Browse or search for the image you need
- Click to select, then click Select to insert it
In-App Templates
The same workflow applies for in-app message templates. The asset picker opens automatically when you interact with image components in the editor.
Storage
Assets are stored in Cloudflare R2 cloud storage for fast, global delivery. When used in email templates, asset URLs are permanent and publicly accessible, ensuring images display correctly in all email clients.
Tips
- Use descriptive names when uploading files to make them easy to find later
- Organize by campaign or brand using folders (e.g.,
/holiday-2024,/brand-assets) - Optimize images before uploading - smaller files load faster in emails and in-app messages
- Use PNG for logos and graphics with transparency, JPEG for photos
- SVG files are great for icons and simple graphics that need to scale
